Elenia’s sustainability was evaluated the fourth time – GRESB result 95

Elenia's GRESB 2021 result indicates that we are doing long-term sustainable development at Elenia. Elenia scored full five stars for the fourth consecutive year and reached a result 95 out of 100.

Globally 549 infrastructure companies from different sectors took part in the GRESB Infrastructure Assessment which was arranged for the sixth time this year. Elenia ranked thirty fourth in the overall results. Elenia reached the third highest score among the sector of the Network Utilities: Electricity Distribution Companies. Elenia took part in the GRESB Infrastructure Assessment for the first time in 2018.

The GRESB assessment gave a broad view that Elenia has created a robust sustainability management and the goals of sustainability have been leaded from a company level to a personnel level internally at Elenia as well as to Eleania’s supply chain. Elenia has an extensive risk management and stakeholder engagement. Sustainability at Elenia has been measured through various environmental, energy and security key figures. From now on Elenia will focus on climate change risks and opportunities in business and how energy business can impact to the mitigation of climate change.

The international GRESB system assesses the sustainability of the infrastructure sector and offers us an important benchmark and research tool for the continuous development of sustainability as it provides information about the global development of sustainability in the infrastructure sector. GRESB assesses the performance of companies in environmental matters, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.
